Is e-Procurement a private company?

No, e-Procurement is a service that is part of the federal public service Personnel and Organisation.

Who uses e-Notification?

e-Notification is used by:

-companies that want to consult public contracts (including related specifications / accompanying documents). -organisations (public services, non-profit organisations, hospitals, ...) which are subject to the law on public contracts.

The e-Procurement service has concluded agreements with the Flemish authority and the Brussels-Capital Region. They publish directly on e-Notification. We've also concluded agreements with the Walloon Region and private partners. They provide us with their contract notices.

Is e-Notification the same as the Bulletin des Adjudications (BDA) (i.e. the Belgian procurement newsletter)?

As from 1 January 2011, e-Notification has become the BDA. All organisations wishing to publish on the Belgian level will need to send us their publication. This can be done directly via e-Notification, via an own platform or via a private actor

Is it also possible to publish on the European level (OPOCE)?

Yes, we offer you all official European publication documents, including the erratum form. New European forms will be added to our site as soon as possible.

When will my publication appear in OPOCE?

3 to 4 workdays after publication on e-Notification. If you do not find your publication in the official journal , we recommend that you contact our helpdesk.

How much does a subscription to e-Notification cost?

All our applications are free of use.

How much does it cost to publish a public contract via e-Notification?

All our applications are free of use.

Why do I need to register as a company?

Registered users enjoy more possibilities. You can create a personalised search profile, which allows you to accurately search notices which are of interest to you. It is also possible to configure a messaging feature, so that you will receive an e-mail which contains an overview of all recently published notices that meet your profile. When a buyer has activated the forum, you can communicate in an interactive manner through your account.

As said above, registration and use of our websites is free of charge.

Why can I, as a public buyer, only register/log in with an identity card?

Using an identity card offers several advantages:

- highly secure login method
- no need to remember any user name or password
- easy interaction between the e-Notification and e-Tendering applications and future applications such as e-Catalogue, e-Auctions and e-Awarding.

I do not possess a Belgian identity card.

We generate a user name and password for persons who are not in possession of a Belgian identity card. These persons can only publish and cannot make use of the other applications.
